It's holiday time again! (2)

Just before we left the Parador de Gredos I took the picture of the snow covered mountains. Actually, it is 16 photos stitched together and proof that I should have brought my tripod. 

We arrive in the afternoon at the Parador de Zafra. It is further south and much warmer.

The Parador is a 15th century castle in the heart of the city. We stayed here 3 years ago and the link to those photos is HERE.

It looks great in the evening when the inside courtyard is lit. One thing you don't get from the photo is the constant screeching of the swallows as they swoop everywhere.
