Today we were walking along the same stretch and could see the finished job. That should protect the cliffs for the next few hundred years against the ravages of the Mediterranean.
I still don't know how they got the digger back out though!

The new sea wall!
Just over a month ago we were walking along the sea front when we noticed a digger down on the beach. It was starting to place some rocks to prevent the sea from eroding the shoreline.
Today we were walking along the same stretch and could see the finished job. That should protect the cliffs for the next few hundred years against the ravages of the Mediterranean.
