It's pear blossom time!

Our pear tree is getting smaller every year as branches are dying and I am cutting them off.

However, the parts that are surviving are most vigorous and produce lots of fruit.

It has been very windy over these last few days but that doesn't seem to have put the bees off...

...or damaged the blossom in any way.

It looks like a good crop of pears is on the way!
