The mass and the meal.

The final day of the fiesta is the last day of August which this year happened to be a Sunday when La Misa en Honor a San Ramón and the Comida de hermanidad en La Plaza Mayor are celebrated.



For the midday mass a number of people wore traditional dress.


San Ramón was given his second outing of the year...


...as the congregation processed around the village...


...on a glorious day, although maybe too warm for those wearing heavy clothes...


...then after the service there was the photo opportunity.



For the first time, the meal was not cooked on an open fire but gas burners were used. That's progress!


The meal this year was paella...


...with some 400 hundred people enjoying it.

A superb end to a truly great fiesta.
